Mother’s Day Gift Ideas For Mesothelioma Patients?

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Mother's Day GiftI am finding some Mother’s Day gift ideas for Mesothelioma patients. Any suggestion?

The only gifts I can think of are gift cards. Gift them gift cards and let them buy what they like, need or want.

If you have mesothelioma and don’t have the stamina to brave crowded malls and long lines to buy gifts for your mom, you should consider shopping online from home or even a hospital bed.

Many online retailers will even gift wrap and include personalized greeting cards to the gifts.

Forget To Buy Pantry Moth Traps

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

Mom reminded me to buy some pantry moth traps this afternoon, but I forgot.

I forgot simply because I had a bad toothache. Instead of doing some grocery shopping, I headed to the dental clinic to get it fixed.

Guess how long I waited before it was my turn? An hour!

Argh, I hate toothache. Whenever I have a toothache, I can’t concentrate on my work. I must get rid of the pain as soon as possible.

Now that my toothache is gone, I can focus on my online work again.

Mom Learns To Find Coupons Online

CouponsWhile checking out some Green Study information online this morning, my mom stormed into my home office and showed me a tube of Colgate toothpaste.

I thought there was something wrong with the toothpaste that she had to storm into my home office.

Apparently, she was just too excited. A few days ago, she got a $1.00 off toothpaste coupon from the Special Offers section at Colgate website. She then used the $1.00 off coupon to buy a tube of Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste.

I feel good to have shared with my mom why online coupons can save her money and taught her how and where to find coupons online.

Wrinkle Free Eye Patches Provided For Free

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Talking about wrinkle free eye patch, I think it’s a good Mother’s Day gift idea.

My mom has been using wrinkle free creams for ages. She says she doesn’t mind trying wrinkle free patches so long as they are provided free by her children. :-)

At her age now, it’s definitely almost everything is provided free. Free meals, free trips, free Outer Banks rentals, free medical fees, to name a few. They are all paid by us, the children.

Fortunately, she is not a money-minded or materialistic mom.

Get Free Eye Patch Samples To Try

Eye Patch For WrinkleHow I wish I was given some free eye patch samples to try too!

I am jealous! My buddy is always lucky to receive free beauty product samples to try. I think this has go to do with the fact that she has a beauty product blog.

Perhaps I should consider setting up a beauty blog to receive free skin care product samples and review them for free.

This way, I can also save money on buying skin care products. :-)

High Heat GlovesWhat do you think of gifting your DIY mom some work gloves and safety equipment as her Mother’s Day gift this year?

My buddy did give his mom a set of Makita working tools on last year’s Mother’s Day.

She is a higly-skilled DIY woman who can make anything from small bookshelves to big cabinets, fix the pipes and water guts, build storage garages and many other home improvement stuff that you and I will never ever want to dirty our hands with. :-)
