A Lavish Barbecue With Unlimited Beer Is Great For Dad

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

My sister suggested having a barbecue on Father’s Day for all the fathers in the family in her newly-paved ceramic tile backyard. Hubby and I love this idea very much!

My brother-in-law, a former chef in a renowned restaurant in the city, is ready to prepare a three-course backyard feast starting with Caesar Salad; the main course is Barbecued Pork Ribs and Cowboy Steak With Grilled Corn, Asparagus and Mushroomsters.

There will also be my favorite Grilled Peaches for dessert. Mmm, yummy!

A lavish barbecue with unlimited beer is definitely great for all the dads in my family.

Gift Your Dad An Outdoor Lighting?

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

Outdoor LightingWhat do you think of gifting your dad an outdoor lighting or helping him replace any malfunctioning lighting in the house with the new one this Father’s Day?

This is what my friend did for his dad as Father’s Day gift last year. He knew his dad needed someone to talk to or as a company on that day more than receiving gifts only from the kids.

So, he drove his dad to an outdoor lighting sale nearby to shop a bit. Then they headed home with some new lighting.

While changing the outdoor lighting, my buddy got the chance to really listen to his dad.

Yup, he tried to be the listener on that day.

Write Every Review Or Gift For Dad On Notepad

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

I think you will go nuts like me if your Internet line is always terribly slow. Ya, terribly slow …

Imagine you have to always write your blog posts on Notepad first and move them to your blogs when the line is back to its normal speed!

This is what I have been doing since last week. I write every product review or gift for dad on Notepad first and move them to my niche blogs later in the day.

Find The Perfect Pair Of Good-Looking Outdoor Pants As Father’s Day Gifts

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Multi ToolI just faxed the insurance quote over to a buddy. Now I can take my own sweet time finding the perfect pair of pants for my uncle.

My uncle is an outdoor man, so I am going to get him a pair of good-looking outdoor pants this Father’s Day.

I believe that good looking outdoor pants or shoes makes a day on the water more fun.

What about a multi tool to fix anything that is broken? Good choice for dad too.

And when things go wrong in the outdoors, a handy first aid kit is hard to beat.

Gift Your Dad A Vacation Or A Cruise This Father’s Day

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Still thinking about Father’s Day gift ideas? When was the last time you went on a vacation or cruise with your dad?

Can’t recall when the last time was? Well, perhaps you may want to consider gifting your dad one of those luxury cruises or cheap cruises if you are on a tight budget.

Going on a vacation or a cruise with your dad is no doubt one of the best ways to get close with your father again.

Time To Find Gifts For Dads As Father’s Day Gifts

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

SunglassesHubby is trying to persuade me to go shopping with him. No thanks.

There are many things I have to do today. Cleaning my bedroom, washing the kitchen, writing articles and finding gifts for dads ad Father’s Day gifts.

If your dad loves hunting and fishing very much, topping the list of Father’s Day gifts this year are sunglasses.

Sunglasses are a necessity for spotting fish or structure under water when casting for bass or steelhead trout. But just as importantly, they protect your dad’s eyes from sun damage or cataracts surgery from too many days on the water.

Two More Patio Chairs That Need Dusting & Cleaning!

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Hubby came home with two antique patio chairs last Sunday. He said they were sold at so cheaper prices that he couldn’t resist the temptation.

Argh, two more pieces of furniture that need dusting and cleaning from me!

You know, hubby is the collector while I am the cleaner. I hate it!

Why can’t he do the dusting and cleaning since he is the one who collects all sorts of antiques?

I never ask him to clean or polish my collection of shoes, boots, pumps, sandals, slippers and handbags.
