Run Out Of Weight Loss Tips!

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Help! I have run out of ideas for my fast weight loss blog.

My blogging pal has advised me to buy weight loss articles online, but I am still considering.

If I buy articles for quick weight loss tips, I don’t have to worry whether they are duplicate contents; they are guaranteed fresh and unique contents. However, it’s not cheap per piece.

What about PLR articles? They are cheap and I can always rewrite them to avoid duplicate contents. This is a cheaper option, right?

Something About The Cheap Health Insurance

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

ATMI have to go to the bank personally to deposit my car loan installment tomorrow. Arggh, this means I must take a bus to the bank. :-(

Hubby is at work tomorrow, so it’s impossible for him to send me to the bank.

I am not sure what’s wrong. I tried a few times to do the online transfer this morning, but to no avail.

It’s okay. Since there is something about the cheap health insurance policy that I want to ask the customer officer at the bank, I might as well enjoy my trip to the bank tomorrow.

Oh, yes. It’s a good chance to eat the famous chicken rice beside the bank. Mmm, yummy!

Mind Sharing Random Acts Of Kindness?

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

After sharing 8 random acts of kindness with my blogging pals, they gave me theirs that I haven’t tried before.

Here are 6 random acts of kindness given by my blogging pals:

1. Give your new neighbor a map of shops, bus-stops, and other amenities in your area.

2. If you see someone carrying heavy bags or trying to carry a pram up steps, offer to help them out.

3. Give your neighbor’s teen son or daughter the acne treatment cream that has worked to get rid of your son or daughter’s zits and pimples.

4. Tell someone in a discreet way if she has food in her teeth, an undone zipper or a stain on their clothes. They won’t be embarrassed; they’ll be grateful.

5. When tourists look lost, ask if they need help.

6. Take care of yourself. If you are happy, the others around you will be as well.

8 Random Acts Of Kindness

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

There are so many little ways you can make a difference in someone else’s life.

Here are 8 random acts of kindness that I have done recently. See if you have done before. :-)

1. If your parking coupon is still valid when you leave a car park, pass it to someone who has just arrived.

2. Offer unused discount coupons to someone at the supermarket.

3. Let the person behind you in the supermarket go first if they are just buying a few items.

4. If you’ve finished reading your newspaper on the bus, offer it to a fellow passenger.

5. Share your umbrella with someone who’s going your way on a rainy day.

6. Offer a cold drink to the foreign worker doing upgrading work outside your flat, the boy at the carwash or the sweeper who keeps your corridor clean.

7. At the pharmacy, offer to translate the pharmacist’s instructions for someone who doesn’t speak English.

8. Phone a friend or family member ‘out of the blue’ just to say you love them.

Install A Home Alarm – Should Or Should Not?

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Hubby and I are still considering if we should install a home alarm after some burglaries in the neighborhood.

Some of our neighbors have already had their homes installed with home alarms after their houses being broken into while having their vacations overseas.

The reason hubby and I are not so ready for a home alarm is because of the fact that our home is the least luxury-looking in the neighborhood.

No renovation has been done to the house since we moved in and the only car we drive is a 1996 Toyota Camry.

If compared to our neighbors’ newly-renovated houses and Mercedes Benz and BMW cars, there is really no reason for any burglar to pick our house at all.

Compare Prices For Hand Dryers

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Hand DryerI didn’t know my sister was looking for me the whole morning and afternoon. Why didn’t she give me a call?

She told me that she had been waiting for me to be online for a few hours. What?

Poor sister! I was out since this morning. After my morning exercise, I took a quick shower and went to the bank.

Having spent about half an hour in the bank, I took a bus to a nearby shopping mall to compare prices for a few hand dryers.

The hand dryers I came across are all at affordable prices, but I think I will wait for sales time.

You know, it’s bad economy, right? So it’s wise to buy during sales to save some money.

How To Fix Puffy Eyes?

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Do you know why you get puffy eyes? You see, the skin around the eyes is very thin and full of blood vessels, making it very sensitive.

Puffy eyes can be caused by different factors such as too much sodium in a diet causing water retention, not enough sleep and of course, too much alcohol.

This is an immediate fix that you can try. Wrap a bag of frozen peas or corn in a thin towel and place it over your eyes for 10 minutes. The cold of the bag stimulates circulation under they eyes, bringing down the swelling.

A soft wash cloth soaked in chamomile tea gives a similar effect, since chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties.
