Internet Savvy

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

Wuahaha, my supervisor must thank me for being so internet savvy! Had it not been me who found her the online printing service, she wouldn’t have had the business cards and brochures delivered to the office within this week! :-P

Sometimes I don’t understand why my supervisor doesn’t want to learn more about internet and online shopping. At this age, it’s really a must to be internet savvy in order to promote the company business and attract various types of customers.

Hopefully she remembers the website url where I have ordered the business cards and brochures.

Mind Sharing Random Acts Of Kindness?

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

After sharing 8 random acts of kindness with my blogging pals, they gave me theirs that I haven’t tried before.

Here are 6 random acts of kindness given by my blogging pals:

1. Give your new neighbor a map of shops, bus-stops, and other amenities in your area.

2. If you see someone carrying heavy bags or trying to carry a pram up steps, offer to help them out.

3. Give your neighbor’s teen son or daughter the acne treatment cream that has worked to get rid of your son or daughter’s zits and pimples.

4. Tell someone in a discreet way if she has food in her teeth, an undone zipper or a stain on their clothes. They won’t be embarrassed; they’ll be grateful.

5. When tourists look lost, ask if they need help.

6. Take care of yourself. If you are happy, the others around you will be as well.

Must Complete Pain Pump Assignments Or Wait For Jessica Simpson Pump Shoes’ Arrivals?

Monday, December 1st, 2008

Perhaps I can tell hubby that I have some pain pump assignments that I need to complete by this weekend that I don’t have time to attend his nephew’s wedding dinner.

What a lame excuse! I think I should come out with a more convincing solution.

Or I can say I have new stocks of Jessica Simpson pump shoes arrive on Saturday that I must be at home waiting for the delivery.

A Shopper Who Hates Attending Wedding Dinners!

Monday, December 1st, 2008

I really hate attending wedding dinners, especially relatives’ wedding functions!

There is no way I can get away from this wedding dinner this Saturday. It’s hubby’s nephew’s wedding. We are living in the same village, a few blocks away.

If I don’t go, a lot of their relatives will talk behind my back. But if I go, I will be bored to death. I would rather spend my time blogging and updating my niche blogs and stores with cheap gifts.

Today’s Female Role Model – Sergeant First Class Michelle K. Cabral

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Michelle K. Cabral is proof that service in the military can help set you up for a good job in the fiber optic sector.

Born and raised in Kailua, the former Michelle Borengasser joined the U.S. Army on a delayed-entry program while still attending Kalaheo High School. So while her peers were out cruising and partying on weekends, she was at an old gym at Fort DeRussy in Waikiki going through military drills in preparation for going into the service full time.

Upon graduation, Cabral next spent 13 years full time in the Army, traveling the world and learning a trade, which led to her being hired nine years ago as a network technician doing transport, switch services, data services and installing fiber optic cables for customers in Hawaii.

Cabral, 40, also is a widowed mother of two; her husband, Curtis, was killed in 2003 when he was hit from behind on his motorcycle by a drunken driver. The couple’s two children are daughter Shelby, age 8, and son Logan-Michael, age 6, with whom she lives in Kailua.
