Great Mother’s Day Gift!

Friday, April 27th, 2012

I think gifting mom a tumbler compost bin this Mother’s Day is a good idea.

Using a tumbler compost bin means mom doesn’t have to keep turning her compost with a pitchfork. She just needs to spin the drum!

Once she finishes spinning the drum, she can roll the tumbler to any part of the lawn for compost disposal. What a time and hassle saving garden tool!

What To Gift This Mother’s Day?

Saturday, April 14th, 2012

I am still thinking if I should buy ipod touch for my mom who seems to listen to oldies very often now as her Mother’s Day gift.

Time flies, right? It’s time of the year to celebrate Mother’s Day again! What have you planned to gift your mom this year?

As for me, I am still thinking what to gift mum this year.

But It’s …

I am thinking of gifting my mom a pair of reading glasses as the existing pair of hers makes her look older.

Gifting reading glasses may seem cheap, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

Besides, there is still a family dinner with mom on Mother’s Day. I do chip in a bit money for the dinner.

Hopefully hubby is free to join us this Mother’s Day. I would hate his boss if he sends hubby out of town again. >.<

Happy Mother’s Day

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

It’s kind of quiet here, … I mean the neighborhood I am living in. Maybe people have gone out to celebrate Mother’s Day today instead of tomorrow.

It’s for sure that there are people everywhere at restaurants and shopping malls tomorrow. Coincidentally, it’s also a Sunday.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you first in case I am not online tomorrow! ;-)

Let The Younger Sister Make Mom’s Dream Come True

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Wow, my mom sure does know what she wants for Mother’s Day! The other day, she told my younger sister that she would like to own a flat or apartment. Wuahaha!

See the word ‘own’ I used? She wants a property that has her name on. Previously she used her money to pay the downpayment of my youngest sister’s house and thought her name would appear on the property. Noop.

My elder sister, my younger sister and I had persuaded her not to make the down payment for our youngest sister, but she didn’t want to listen. What to do? She was cheated by my youngest sister. Bad sister.

Coming back to buying a flat or apartment for her, I think the only one who can afford to do so is my younger sister who is running a successful motorcycle repair and rv financing biz.

Dear sis, you are the one who can make mom’s dream come true, right?

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas?

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Oh, it’s time of the year to start bringing in more Mother’s Day gift ideas to this blog!

Have you started thinking what gifts to buy for your mom/wife? Oh, no, I haven’t!

I think I need to dig out some of my previous years’ gift ideas before I start writing new blog posts about Mother’s Day gift ideas.

Buy Cheap Mother’s Day Gift From Flea Market

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

Hubby bought a cheap gift for me from the flea market this morning.

It’s a cheap gift. However, it’s an antique watch.

If your loved one loves antique stuffs or old junks as much as you do, flea markets are great places to find her gifts.

Hubby prefers using the term ‘treasures’ for the old junks or stuffs he buys from the flea markets. :-)
