Mother’s Day Gift Ideas For Mesothelioma Patients?

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Mother's Day GiftI am finding some Mother’s Day gift ideas for Mesothelioma patients. Any suggestion?

The only gifts I can think of are gift cards. Gift them gift cards and let them buy what they like, need or want.

If you have mesothelioma and don’t have the stamina to brave crowded malls and long lines to buy gifts for your mom, you should consider shopping online from home or even a hospital bed.

Many online retailers will even gift wrap and include personalized greeting cards to the gifts.

Wrinkle Free Eye Patches Provided For Free

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Talking about wrinkle free eye patch, I think it’s a good Mother’s Day gift idea.

My mom has been using wrinkle free creams for ages. She says she doesn’t mind trying wrinkle free patches so long as they are provided free by her children. :-)

At her age now, it’s definitely almost everything is provided free. Free meals, free trips, free Outer Banks rentals, free medical fees, to name a few. They are all paid by us, the children.

Fortunately, she is not a money-minded or materialistic mom.

High Heat GlovesWhat do you think of gifting your DIY mom some work gloves and safety equipment as her Mother’s Day gift this year?

My buddy did give his mom a set of Makita working tools on last year’s Mother’s Day.

She is a higly-skilled DIY woman who can make anything from small bookshelves to big cabinets, fix the pipes and water guts, build storage garages and many other home improvement stuff that you and I will never ever want to dirty our hands with. :-)

Fantastic Gift Ideas For Mother’s Day

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

Why didn’t you tell me this fantastic website — MothersDayCentral earlier?” I kept telling off my buddy who only told me about this wonderful website a few days after Mother’s Day. If she had told me earlier, I would have picked up more gift ideas that I could share with my sisters and also readers.

As you can see, MothersDayCentral.com is definitely about Mother’s Day. In fact, it is. Everything related to Mother’s Day can be found under one roof. Whether you want to know the History of Mother’s Day, when is Mother’s Day for different countries, what you should do to appreciate mom, get more tips to surprise mom, plan for Mother’s Day activities, or search for various gift ideas such as gifts, cards, crafts, flowers, recipes, printable coupons, poems or verses, it is for sure that you will get what you want there.

While hanging out at this website, it suddenly dawned on me that I shouldn’t just buy my mom gift when it is Mother’s Day. I should give my mom gift anytime I like to show that I love her.

Appliance Parts & Loving Family (R) Small Sterling Silver 2Parent/2Child Pendant As Mother’s Day Gifts

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

Loving Family (R) Small Sterling Silver 2Parent/2Child PendantGuess what I am giving my mom as Mother’s Day gifts this year? A Sterling Silver Pendant and a website that provides correct Appliance Parts for home and kitchen appliances.

My mom seems to have difficulty in finding the right appliance parts for her dishwasher and microwave. This website will definitely come in handy when she needs appliance parts again in future.

The second gift is this Loving Family (R) Small Sterling Silver 2Parent/2Child Pendant. I must say that it is much lovlier than it appears online.

It has a bit of sparkle to it that you can’t tell from the picture or even when it is in the box. But the sparkle is quite noticeable when worn.

The price of this Sterling Silver Pendant ($24.99) is more than reasonable for such a beautiful gift. So, don’t let the picture online fool you. This necklace is beautiful.

Mother’s Day Gifts: Better Late Than Never – World Food Programme Feed Bag

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

World Food Programme Feed BagThinking that it’s too late to order a Mother’s Day gift now? Well, better late than never. No matter how late you give your mom the Mother’s Day gift, she will still be pleased to receive it.

If you have given your mom jewelry, fragrance, gift baskets, or blinds the previous years, what about a tote bag for your mom this year?

I love this World Food Programme Feed Bag. To be able to get something this stylish and practical while supporting such a heart-warming cause is just incredible.

Good quality, very sturdy. I like that it is reversible, it’s like having two bags in one! The white side makes it look sporty and the other side it’s for a more natural look. On the white side it has three pockets, one on the front (could store a magazine) and two on the sides (perfect for cell pone, keys, etc).

I take this World Food Programme Feed Bag with me to classes, travels, oh… and I guess it could even work for my knitting stuff!
