* Go for the oh-so-trendy pencil skirts that end just below the knee. They’re sure classic!
* Keep girlie or feminine details to a minimum, you don’t want to look doll-like.
* Try round-toe heels or flats. They’re easier on the feet and still look work-ready.

* Ditch those double-breasted jackets. The 1980s look is passe and way too mannish!
* Stay away from tapered pants! They tend to make butts larger than they really are.
* Heavily embellished belts or huge buckles are only to be worn to a rodeo, not the office!
* Larger, roomy work bags are trendy, but do draw the line at bringing an overnighter to the workplace.
