Cheap Holiday Bargains That Save Only A Few Hundred Bucks?

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

I am happy that hubby is not around when I am shopping for the best deals on orlando vacation homes.

Each time he sees me searching for holiday deals he will frown. He just doesn’t understand why women love looking for cheap holiday bargains that only save a few hundred bucks.

A few hundred bucks is a lot to me! I can buy a few pairs of Tundra Ellie boots or a Tommy Hilfiger Hampshire tote handbag, you know. He just doesn’t geddit.

Wow, Charge The Slimming Pills On Credit Card?

Friday, December 4th, 2009

I feel happy for my buddy because her hubby found a full time job recently. I think she can heave a long relief now.

It’s kind of a burden and stress for her after her hubby was laid off. She was the one who brought home income to pay all the bills, especially credit card payments.

She had revealed to me that she shouldn’t have bought so many slimming pills at one go and charged into her credit card.

She is still paying interest for the diet pills that she bought 6 months ago!

Too Many Confusing Entry & Exit Signs

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Hubby seems to be very busy today. I wonder whether he can fork out some time to drive me to the bank to withdraw some cash.

I don’t feel like driving to the bank alone because it’s a public holiday today. You know, there won’t be many people on the street, so it’s kind of dangerous to withdraw money from the bank alone.

Besides, there are many confusing entry and exit signs in the area where the bank is located. I know I will surely get lost a few times before I reach the bank.

What should I do? I don’t have much cash in hand now…

Deep Discounted LCD TVs Not In The Wish Lists

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Wow, what a craze! Every blogger I know has been listing their wish lists these few days. Of course, I am of no exception. :-)

I blogged about my wish lists the other day too.

This year, my wish lists do not include any one of the deep discounted LCD tvs. You know, it’s bad economy and I can only opt for cheaper and smaller electronics.

With possible job loss and paycut, it’s better to save more money in the bank. Having some friends whose husbands are jobless makes me cautious when it comes to spending money.

The Most Affordable Insurance Premium As Gift For Her

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Remember I told you about my hubby’s buddy who was comparing some life insurance quotes the other day? Well, he finally found the most affordable insurance policy to gift his loved one.

What a practical gift! It’s not romantic at all, but it’s very practical and meaningful. You know, your health care well being and medical cost are being taken care of!

Also, you don’t have to fork out money to pay the monthly or annual insurance premium. There is someone who is so willing to make the insurance premium payment for you during bad economy.

Sister Is One Of The Many Business Plan Writers Who Works For Others

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

SickSpeaking of doing the stuff you love or loving the stuff you do, my sister insists that one should like the things he or she does.

For me, I insist on doing the stuff I like. This is because I have a choice; I am self employed. I can choose when I want to work and how long I want to take a break.

The reason why my sister has to love what she does simply because she is one of the many business plan writers out there who has to be attached to a company to give her work and salary.

She has to work even when she is terribly sick. I don’t have to. I just turn off my computer and rest without the need to inform any boss.

Save Up For Emergency Fund First

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Is paying off credit card debt fast still my priority? No, I don’t think so. At least, not for the time being.

Since I am in a free debt management program now, my priority is to save up for emergency fund.

Once I have had enough for the initial fund, I will focus on both saving for more emergency fund and paying off credit card debt.
