Apparently children do not see schoolwork as very important anymore, viewing education as unhelpful to their ambition of starring in Pop Factor or whatever it is called.

And should they have no singing talent, or no dancing talent or no talent at all, they know they can always appear in Big Brother before going on to make guest appearances at the biggest nightspots in Essex.

Parents are appalled at the extent of the decline in this country into the cult of celebrity which is perverting children’s aspirations, expectations and performance reviews.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton was said to be a popular role model. How? Why? This starved bag of bones pops up at the opening of an envelope and gets drunk. She doesn’t have to work because she does not have to.

Sadly our next generation of women aspire to be more like Paris You need a very, very rich daddy, girls, who also knows somebody at MTV!

Seeing untalented people enjoy such success has also led to schoolchildren believing that academic accomplishment is almost meaningless in their hunt for tabloid headlines and free drinks.

The bottom line is something has to be done. Whether it involves educating our children or the ill-educated who infiltrate their minds remains to be seen.

Prosecutors throughout the world are too lenient towards celebrities who take drugs and add glamor to addiction, sending out a wrong image to their fans and youth who copy their lifestyle. Sentences for such people are too lenient, which is yet another confirmation of stars being privileged.

Truly, we have witnessed sentences that were too lenient or non at all for celebrities when it comes to drug abuse and addiction.This goes for Hollywood above all and its favorites like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson, Robin Williams, as well as some British stars like Kate Moss and her ex boyfriend Pete Doherty.

Instead of ending up in prison, many of them ended up in drug or alcohol rehab and when they got out, the treatment was absolutely unsuccessful in most cases.
