No Getaway On Valentine’s Day

Since there is no getaway on Valentine’s Day this weekend, I can stay at home and submit as many articles as I like to the free directory.

What about hubby? Well, he decided to hang out with his buddies who have no girls. Good. Keep them accompany on their lonely V Day.

Wuahaha! A gang of poor buddies who have been dumped by their girlfriends.

I must admit that my online work means more than anything to me. It’s so significant that I don’t mind giving up a short getaway opportunity with hubby.

Ya, he is mad that Internet connection is above everything. No internet connection, no romantic getaway on the weekend.

Valentine's DayChristmas and New Year gift season was over. What’s next? Valentine’s Day is approaching. :-)

Or nothing to gift because of overspending during Christmas?

As for me, I am not going to gift hubby anything this year. Being able to be together is a blessing, so there is no need of tangible gifts.

Last-minute Lotharios hoping to pave the way to romance with gold jewelry this Valentine’s Day will pay a pretty penny for those glittery gifts.

Men, not surprisingly, will dish out the most money to mark Valentine’s Day this year, spending an average of $163.37 on cards and gifts, according to the National Retail Federation. About one-quarter, 26.5% , will buy jewelry.

But a sustained run-up in the price of commodities has driven up the cost of bracelets, earrings and other jewelry made with gold, forcing everyone in the jewelry chain — refiner and manufacturer, retailer and customer — to think hard about the precious metal. (more…)
